This wedding was a special one. These two celebrated 8 years together on their wedding day. A little fun symbolism: turn that 8 sideways and it is the infinity symbol. Infinity symbol > marriage > these two are meant to be. I worked next to Allison for a year and she was able to watch me do all sorts of weddings. She would always tell me that I was going to do her wedding flowers someday. Sure enough, she came in one day with that RING! And the rest is history..
Allison and Will had a very intimate ceremony and celebrated their nuptials with close friends and family. Lisa from Once Like A Spark shot their wedding and totally rocked it!
Allison was inspired by the beauty of fall, opting for more rich fall tones. Florals were carefully chosen to bring her vision to life with texture and depth. Look closely and you'll see peonies and dahlias together in harmony (*sigh*)! Red ranunculus, 'Juilet' garden roses, burgundy pom poms, ruby red spray roses, astilbe and peach hypericum berries were also used in their florals. My favorite is the one of a kind ceremony pieces using 7 foot tall birch branches in planters with lush greens and pops of flowers that 'float' up!
Having their best friend officiate their ceremony and spending their day with their families and closest friends is truly something special. After all- isn't what your wedding is supposed to be about?! Allison and Will did it right. Their wedding was a true reflection of who they are: Non-traditional and full of love!
