Emily & Steve

Emily & Steve

6/25/16

The Lighthouse Inn, West Dennis

I remember meeting Emily for the first time. She had a clear vision of what she wanted for her Cape Cod wedding. Everything from the escort cards to the table runners, the monkey fists lining the aisle to the cake topper- was perfect. Emily even went above and beyond and crafted all of the vases for the centerpieces. She saved empty Yankee Candles and added nautical roping or driftwood around them. HOW CLEVER?! The boutonnieres were a piece of driftwood with a touch of bear grass, spray rose and hypericum berry. I was loving all the creative details! Not to mention I remember this being one of those rare perfect weather days. I'm talking like no clouds in the sky, the right amount of sun to keep you warm without burning you and the occasional light breeze.

I have no selfie control- that is me and Emily's cousin, Sara, who is one of my good friends. I got to hang around with her in between set up!

Emily & Steve's wedding is the picture perfect Cape Cod wedding. Peonies (those stunning coral charms!!!), hydrangeas and roses was all I used to execute this specific look. The simplicity of these flowers paired with everything throughout the wedding. Lisa Elizabeth Images took all of these breathtaking photos. She is a well establish Cape Cod photographer and as you'll see from here and her portfolio, she has an eye for capturing the most beautiful shots taken along the shore.

I mean, this last picture, come ON. The sky, the love, everything about this sums up this happy couple's #BestDayEver. I want to thank my Fab bride Emily for letting me share these, Lisa Elizabeth for her amazing work, and all of YOU reading this! The great weather Boston has in store this week inspired me to post this wedding today.

Have a fabulous Monday! Go out, do whatever you want, live your life!

xoxo
